The Rocks is where Sydney began

If you were to plan a holiday to Sydney, do drop by the Rocks as the Rocks is a uniquely historical Australian quarter, one where you can explore Cadman's Cottage, eat in restaurants located in some of the oldest surviving buildings in Sydney, or browse boutique shops and galleries in the place where Australia's European settlement began. It's a village which echoes a long and colorful past and can be enjoyed by everyone in an equally colorful present.

The Rocks is very much near to Opera House and Harbour Bridge whereby you could just walk, say 5-10minutes? So maybe you could take a stroll at Circular Quay after having a fine dinner at the Rocks.

Oh wait, just before you started walking to the Rocks, make sure you crash this place, DFS Galleria, girl's shopping paradise. A place you can get Gucci, Burberry, Prada, Christian Dior, Chocolates, Cosmetics, LV, Coach at tax-free price.

Spotted Coach Purse @ 30% off even at Duty Free Price and most of the mini pouch costs as cheap as AUD$100 only! Girls, remember to drop by DFS Galleria! Another important point, remember to bring along your flight ticket to create your own shopping card :)

After we were done with our window shopping, we adjourned to Pancakes on the Rocks.

We happened to miss this junction partly because I wasn't too sure where Pancakes on the Rocks is even though I'd been there. (fyi, I suck at recognising road!) Thus, do remember this building along the junction!

We continued walking towards Harbour Bridge and stopped by for snap snap without knowing we had actually missed the junction.

We finally realized we were lost after 10mins walking so we had to ask someone for exact location. Thank God, everyone was helpful taking into account we look more like visitors. Mind you, people here are racist. So far an egg has not been thrown at me YET since most of my friend experienced that.

So here you go, Pancakes on the Rocks, a place you must not miss when you visit Sydney.

SYD_051
As usual, you have to WAIT but it worthes waiting though :)

Victoria Bitter, or well-known as VB is Australian Beer.

Despite its name, it is technically a fairly standard commercial lager rather than a bitter, although perhaps slightly more bitter than many.

Oooh looks yummy!

Wah I also wanna go to the designer stores! Are the stuff there relatively cheaper than Msia's?

I reckon it's cheaper cause I bought a limited edition mini pouch @ AUD$100 only :) Not too sure the price in Malaysia but I did check the price on LV Duffel bag, it costs AUD$800-900 only!! And 30% off on Coach Purse which costs AUD$200+ after discount. Dirt Cheap!
