Living in the home country for almost 21 years and knowing KL Tower and KLCC are main attraction (if only there were no terrorist), I have not really seen them at night except catching a glimpse while passing by KLCC at night. Right after living in Australia for almost a year, I took uncountable night shots of Opera House and never get bored of it. There was once I sat down at the side of harbour watching Opera House and I absolutely love the coffee shop situated in between of Harbour Bridge and Opera House. There goes the saying, killed two birds with a stone. So it's definitely a MUST to hit LookOut Point.
I may be or in fact I'm very much slower on writing a bird's eye view of the city, this should in fact be dedicated to Alice after hearing so much on me hoo-haa-ing KL city at night.
I've been hearing that Look Out Point is Small Genting and Look Out Point is near to Small Genting, but watever it is, the magnificent view matters the most.
Speaking of restaurants available up there, I was pretty certain on the prices they'd be charging considering the fact that it is the strategic location to see magnificent night view. Surprisingly, the price was quite reasonable i.e average of RM20-30 depending on your choices. After all, food doesn't play much role as there isn't lavish restaurant up here. According to Pink, LookOut Point actually refers to this ancient hut in which I had mistakenly thought that once I reach uphill, it is lookout point! Silly me.
Lesson of the day, never wear high heels as this is wooden and old hut and I was EXTREMELY scared that I would fall anytime.
I feel kinda irritated by the people there who constantly capture the view using mobile phone with FLASH! As a result, they couldn't snap KLCC night view and instead block my view! wtf!
Hence, we drove down to avoid the people congestion up there but somehow my camera decided to fail me :( Looks like it's time to splurge! (Hint to Mr Choo : I'm turning 21 in less than 2 months time :P)
They stole the limelight...
This is the best shot I can get given that I don't have any extra lens :)
